Nooo!! Arturo won. And deservedly so, his entry for the famed LedgerPaper contest was clearly the winner. So, I didn’t win. It breaks my heart. (But at least I did make it onto the runners’ up list, whatever that’s worth. I’m happy. And I have an iShuffle already.)

Had some fun with camera yesterday (March 1). Took a walk around the Royal Castle, wound up where the swans gather for their winter feeding (it’s how they survive: put on a show, get thrown some crumbs), saw this one bird, a duck-ish type, jump from the water onto the quay, then pick his way gingerly to the spot where a towering Human was throwing breadcrumbs at the losers down below (them other birds still in it water, like). Man, did he ever have a feast! I think it was a “he” anyway. Could be wrong. What do I know from birds...
