Recent stuff
Recently I’ve redesigned the web site and graphic identity of a Stockholm music club, Closer. I did everything on this site except the texts (and I did some of those to); graphic design, image treatments, layout and some of the code. The job included a poster and a flyer as well. The graphic identity of the site started with the poster layout and I have aimed at incorporating as much of the poster feeling as possible, in the site design. The identity revolves around use of strong colour markers (red, white, black) and clean typography. Below are a couple of samples.
Here are a few designs created for a logo contest held by LedgerPaper and Greg Storey. Did I win the contest? I don’t honestly know. We’ll see [02.21.05]
Update: Of course I didn’t win. Hadn’t really expected to, either. But I did earn some recognition (?) by being among the named first runners up. So, it’s not all bad. Funny thing, the entry that the jury thought was my best work — the 3rd one of the examples below — is the one I liked the least of my own submissions. Go figure.
